Only for my mother-in-law

Brittany had alot of little quirky things she did - chewing the blankets was probably one of the biggest - I am pretty sure I already wrote about this but just a quick note she LOVED blankets - she would spend hours just happily chewing on them - she wouldn't even really rip them to shreds she just liked to lay down with the blanket between her paws and just chew for hours. That was one of the "quirks".

Another quirk we found pretty interesting and pretty funny was the way she would act when my mother-in-law would come over. When she would first come into the house Brittany would go nuts she would come galloping by where ever MIL was standing and she would wait for her to pet her then she would literally flip out LOL! She would spin in circle - no lie - until the nut would literally fall to the ground! She did this almost every time my MIL would come over. Scott was convinced it was MIL's perfume but I am not sure - maybe it was the sound of her voice? MIL made such a huge deal over Brittany so of course when she would come over she would greet all of us the same happy way especially the dog so I think maybe the dog remembers that? I have no idea - all I know is it was pretty funny to watch. Only thing we did worry she would end up hurting herself - she spun so fast LOL!!!

So strange

We had a bbq this past weekend for the 4th of July. How strange it felt not having my sweet girl wandering around the yard amongst all the people - hoping that maybe just maybe someone would drop a hamburger or hotdog on the ground :o) The nicest thing about Brittany was that she liked mostly everyone - if she didn't want to be bothered she would go find herself a nice shady spot in the back of the yard away from everyone - though that didn't happen too often she liked to be around everyone. She would have loved this bbq - a few days before I bought a giant beach ball - everyone was throwing it around in the pool - she would have had a blast with that thing. She always loved a good party :o) Though I remember one b/day party we had for the girls poor Brittany must have eaten too much that day because all of a sudden in the middle of "present opening" she just vomited all over the patio! Of course all the guest were "shocked" - Heather, Kaitlyn and I just continued to open the gifts LOL! Scott got the hose and cleaned up - see not a big deal we were used to it :o)
