Hanging the head out the window

The other day we were driving and I happened to notice the car next to me had a dog in the backseat - might have been a Golden Retriever? Anyway it was a beautiful day and the window was open just enough for him to put his head out and let the cool breeze blow on his face as they were driving along. This got me thinking about poor Brittany and how horrible she was in the car. That poor dog could never make herself comfortable she was always spinning around and falling off the seat - nevermind even trying to look out the window. Though on a few occasions I remember looking in the rearview mirror and seeing her sitting up with her head turned and leaning on the back of the seat as she looked out the back window. There was also a time I remember when I was driving her to the doggie "hotel" because we were going on vacation - I was looking straight ahead and thought she was lying quietly on the backseat when to my suprise I glanced to my right and there she was LOL! That big head was resting smack on the middle of my console!!! It was so funny she had manuevered her body so that she was lying straight and was holding her front end up with her front paws on the floor so her head was able to rest comfortable on the console :o) I tell you she never ceased to amaze me :o)
